Scholarship
An annual scholarship for a student enrolled in flight training, aircraft maintenance, engineering or airport management systems.
Mooney (MAPA) Safety Foundation Scholarship Program
Each year the Safety Foundation awards an annual scholarship to promote general aviation safety, to a student enrolled in a qualifying course of study. Qualifying courses of study include flight training, aircraft maintenance, engineering, and airport management systems.
Requirements
- The applicant must be enrolled in a qualifying course of study and have completed 50% of the course
- A short essay, minimum 250 words, on how your curriculum of study will contribute to general aviation safety
- Expressed desire towards aviation, and aviation safety
- Two letters of recommendation
- An official sealed transcript of your grades
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
- No criminal background
- All applications must be submitted by 15 August of the application year
