What happens at a Pilot Proficiency Program

  1. Friday — ground day

A full day of ground instruction built around the Mooney: systems, engine management, weather and the accident cases that keep repeating.

  2. Saturday and Sunday — flying

Flight sessions in your own aircraft, with an instructor matched to your model. Enough to qualify for a flight review and an instrument proficiency check.

  3. Your own instructor

You fly the type you own, with someone who teaches that type. Assignments are made by the Foundation before the weekend starts.
